The hunt for a gold treasure which, according to records, was aboard a Spanish-Gallion that sank 200 years ago in the depths of the Caribbean. Generations of treasure hunters have searched in vain for the fortune which, it is rumored, would be impossible to find since an earthquake buried the cave where the ship went down. Thwarted by storms, mobsters who prey on fortune hunters and seemingly insurmountable obstacles, including the near death of one of the crew due to an underwater explosion, this team finally triumphs, by sheer luck, at the point where everything seems to be in vain.
