When Latino mambo dancer Miguel sneaks into the US with starry-eyed dreams of Broadway,
he must continually dodge the INS while looking for work. But, without any papers, the closest he can get to his chosen profession is a part-time job sweeping floors at a dance academy. His luck soon improves when the academy's head, Susan, starts admiring Miguel's mambo technique.
